Asia Tenggara: Visual Identity

Asia Tenggara, an Asian restaurant in Saudi Arabia, invited us to create a unique visual identity that would encapsulate their commitment to excellence and innovation in offering an authentic culinary journey through the diverse flavors of Asia. Our task was to design a comprehensive brand image, including the logo, color palette, typography, patterns, decor, menu, and digital assets. Our aim was to reflect the rich traditions of Asian cuisine while enhancing the vibrant and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant.

Challenge

The primary challenge was to craft a visual identity that honors the diverse and rich traditions of Asian cuisine while appealing to a wide range of customers in Saudi Arabia. We needed to balance authenticity with modern design elements to create a unique and memorable dining experience. Ensuring consistency across various branding materials, from the restaurant decor to digital platforms, was essential. Additionally, we aimed to create designs that convey the warmth and hospitality of Asia Tenggeran.

Solution

To address these challenges, we conducted extensive research into Asian culinary traditions and the preferences of the local market. Our design team created a distinctive logo that represents the diversity and richness of Asian cuisine. We chose a vibrant and harmonious color palette inspired by traditional Asian art and culture, paired with elegant and modern typography to ensure readability and appeal. We integrated traditional Asian patterns and motifs into the design to add depth and authenticity. For the restaurant decor, we collaborated with interior designers to create a warm and inviting atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. The menu was designed to be both visually appealing and easy to navigate, featuring high-quality images and detailed descriptions of each dish.
