Mehdi Belhadj

Mehdi Belhadj is a Tunisian traveler who captures the essence of various tourist and exploratory destinations across the African continent through his camera. By providing rich and diverse content on his Instagram page, Mehdi shares the beauty and uniqueness of Africa with his audience. We were tasked with creating a guidebook for his brand, laying the basic foundations for his identity, including a slogan that reflects the nature of the content he provides. Our goal was to ensure that all branding elements align with the vision and personality of Mehdi Belhadj while preserving the privacy and integrity of his identity.

Challenge

The primary challenge was to create a visual identity that authentically represents Mehdi Belhadj’s travel experiences and the diverse beauty of the African continent. We needed to balance the personal, intimate nature of his photography with a professional and cohesive brand identity. Ensuring consistency across various branding materials, from social media graphics to the guidebook, was essential. Additionally, the design had to respect and preserve the privacy of Mehdi’s identity while enhancing his unique storytelling approach.

Solution

To address these challenges, we conducted comprehensive research into African landscapes, cultures, and the preferences of Mehdi’s audience. Our design team created a distinctive and authentic logo that embodies the spirit of exploration and adventure. We selected a vibrant and earthy color palette inspired by the diverse landscapes and cultures of Africa, paired with elegant typography to ensure clarity and appeal. We integrated traditional African patterns and motifs into the design to add depth and cultural relevance. For the guidebook, we developed a cohesive and visually appealing layout that reflects Mehdi’s journey and storytelling style. The digital assets, including social media graphics, were crafted to provide a seamless and engaging user experience, highlighting Mehdi’s photography and travel experiences.
