Nostalgika: Visual Identity

Nostalgika is a brand dedicated to sourcing and providing authentic, organic Tunisian products. The brand name, Nostalgika, was carefully chosen to reflect our mission and values, drawing from the Italian word for “nostalgia” to express our deep appreciation for the traditions, sustainability, and rich heritage of Tunisian culture. Our task was to create a comprehensive visual identity that embodies these principles and resonates with our target audience.

Challenge

The primary challenge was to create a visual identity that authentically represents Nostalgika’s dedication to Tunisian traditions and sustainability while appealing to a modern audience. We needed to balance the rich cultural heritage of Tunisia with contemporary design elements to create a brand that is both authentic and appealing. Ensuring consistency across various branding materials, from packaging to online platforms, was crucial. Additionally, the design had to communicate the organic and high-quality nature of Nostalgika’s products.

Solution

To address these challenges, we conducted in-depth research into Tunisian culture, traditions, and sustainable practices. Our design team created a logo that reflects the essence of Nostalgika, incorporating elements that symbolize nostalgia and heritage. We selected a warm and earthy color palette inspired by the natural landscapes and traditional art of Tunisia, paired with elegant typography to ensure clarity and authenticity. We integrated traditional Tunisian patterns and motifs into the design to add depth and cultural relevance. For the packaging, we developed designs that highlight the organic and authentic nature of the products, using eco-friendly materials to reinforce the brand’s commitment to sustainability. The digital assets, including the website and social media graphics, were crafted to provide a seamless and engaging user experience, showcasing Nostalgika’s products and values.
